Health Mix Banana Bread


  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup Lion Health Mix powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Lion honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped Lion Desert Queen Dates

  1. Grease a standard-sized loaf pan, keep it aside, and preheat your oven to 350°Fahrenheit (175°Celsius). 
  2. With a masher or fork, mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until they turn smooth.
  3. Add the Health Mix powder, vegetable oil, Lion honey, vanilla extract, and eggs to the mashed bananas. Combine well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Together, whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. To the wet mixture, gradually keep adding the dry ingredients and stir it continuously until a smooth batter forms.
  6. Gently add the chopped dates into the batter. Dates will add natural sweetness and a delightful chewiness to the banana bread.
  7. Pour the banana bread batter in the greased loaf pan by spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle Muesli evenly over the top of the batter. This will create a crunchy crust and add an extra layer of texture.
  9. Place the pan in the preheated oven and let it bake for 55-60 minutes. Check by inserting the toothpick in the center to ensure it comes clean. The Muesli on top should be golden brown.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for up to 10 minutes, then shift it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, slice the Health Mix Banana Bread into desired portions and savor the wholesome goodness!
